Florence Wagner

Former Hastings resident, Florence M. Wagner, 92, of Homestead Heathcare and Rehab Center, Lincoln, Nebraska, died Friday, February 28, 2003.

Services will be Friday, March 7, 2003; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Dr. Sam Rathod officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, in Hastings, Nebraska.

Florence M. Wagner was born August 15, 1910 in Cozad, Nebraska to Henry H. & Carolina (Bodemer) Morris. She graduated from Cozad High School, Cozad, Nebraska and attended both the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Kearney State Teachers College, Kearney, Nebraska. She taught in the rural schools of Dawson County, Nebraska prior to her marriage on August 30, 1935 to Carl H. Wagner. He preceded her in death July 17, 2002. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, NARFE and the Church Circle. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother during her 67 years of marriage.

Florence M. Wagner was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl; brothers, Floyd & Glen Morris; sisters, Dorothy Weaver, Edith Severance and Arlene Sinor.
