Florene Potts

Former Blue Hill resident, Florene A.C. Potts, 88, died Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, December 9, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Spomer officiating. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Mrs. Potts was born June 10, 1916 in Webster County, near Blue Hill, Nebraska to Henry & Antoni (Schlichtman) Magarin. She married Harley Potts on April 22, 1936, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1999. She worked at the Nursing Home in Blue Hill. She was a past member of St. Paul's Lutheran and L.C.W in Blue Hill, Nebraska They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1973 after their retirement from farming. She was a present member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and WELCA in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Potts was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Potts, her parents, two sisters, Irene Goerig and Ethel Zurmiller, one great grandchild, Andrea Lee Potts.
