Florine Fellers

Hastings resident, Florine Marie Fellers, 72, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Perkins Pavilion.

Graveside services with closed casket with Military Rites will be Friday, December 1, 2006; 11:00 A.M. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Heritage Senior Center, McCook, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2006; 9am-9pm with family present from 7pm-9pm at Butler-Volland Funeral Home, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Fellers was born March 17, 1934 in Norton, Kansas to Dave & Opal Marie (Henderson) Leech. She graduated from Cambridge High School, Cambridge, Nebraska in 1951. She served in the United States Air Force from March 26, 1952 to January 26, 1955 in the 25th Communication Squadron attached to USAFE, headquartered in Weisbaden, Germany. On October 4, 1962, she married John J. Fellers. She was a member of Women in Military Service for America & 37th Star Chapter Daughters of American Revolution.

Mrs. Fellers was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John and a brother, Dave Leech, Jr.
