Floyd Rol, 84, of Perkins Pavilion, died Friday, July 18, 2003 at Perkins Pavilion.
Services will be Monday, July 21, 2003; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Frank Kerkemeyer officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Floyd Rol was born June 22, 1919 In Sibley, Iowa to Peter & Mary (Sieders) Rol. He graduated from high school and served in the United States Army during WWII from June 10, 1942 until December 13, 1945. He married Louise 'Susie' Uhrmacher in Hastings, Nebraska on June 13, 1948 and she preceded him in death in January, 1997. He was a custodian for the United States Post Office, Hastings, Nebraska. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, D.A.V., and a life member of the V.F.W.
Floyd Rol was preceded in death by his parents, wife Louise 'Susie' and a son Michael Allen Rol, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
