Frances Murman

Hastings resident, Frances Mae Murman, 91, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society - Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, May 15, 2017; 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, west of Glenvil with Pastor Renee Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., Sunday, May 14, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Frances was born July 18, 1925 to James & Margaret (Jensen) Larsen in Blair, Nebraska. She graduated from Louisville High School. Frances married Menno John Murman on January 5, 1947; he preceded her in death on January 30, 1997. Frances was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Women of the ELCA , Double Dozen Extension Club, and the Nebraska Dairy Women. Frances was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising her children and helping her husband on the farm.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Larry Dean Murman; and siblings, Helen Eager & Robert Larson.
