Frances Portenier

Hastings resident, Frances Lucille Portenier, 92, died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Mary Lanning HealthCare in Hastings.

Services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013; 10:30 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Samuel R. Rathod officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013 one hour prior to the service at the church.

Frances was born August 25, 1920 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Ray & Josie (Brehm) Slater. She graduated from Glenvil High School and married Dale Portenier and he preceded her in death on March 2, 1984. She worked at the Hastings Regional Center and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Frances Lucille Portenier was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale Portenier, sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Dale Dedrickson, Dorothy and Les Aspegren, DeLores Robertson, Twila and Bud Wileman, two infant brothers, brothers, Darrell Slater and Lamoine Slater and sister-in-law, Betty Slater.
