Francis Marsh

Longtime Hastings resident, Francis Marsh, 97, of Rockport, Texas, died Saturday, July 26, 2003 at Aransas Pass, Texas.

Services will be Thursday, July 31, 2003: 10:30 A.M. at First Christian Church with Rev. Judith Allen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Francis Marsh was born February 16, 1906 in Hastings, Nebraska to Charles E. & Bertha C.M. (Jessie) Marsh. On June 9, 1929 he married Sarah Opal Delehoy in Blue Hill, Nebraska and she preceded him in death in 1993. He worked at White Mountain Creamery, Bi Lo Market, Stewart Plumbing, U.S. Navy Ammo in Hastings, and retired from the Cornhusker Ammo Plant in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was a member for over 70 years of the First Christian Church in Hastings, Sr. Citizens of Hastings and the Steam Fitters Union.

Francis Marsh was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sarah, 1 son-in-law, 3 daughters-in-law and 3 brothers.

Memorial may be given to First Christian Church or To The Family
