Francis Sprenkle

Francis L. Sprenkle, 73, of 1219 E. 7th, died Sunday, July 14, 2002 at BryanLGH Medical Center East, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, July 16, 2002;10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Jerry Bumgardner and Pastor Steve Hodgson officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Francis L. Sprenkle was born February 27, 1929 in Spencer, Nebraska to Benjamin F. & Ruth (Pond) Sprenkle. He graduated from high school and attended college for 2 years. He served in the United States Air Force from 1948-1968. He married Betty Roeder on January 1, 1953 and she preceded him in death on December 16,1994. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1968. He was a custodian at the Veterans Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Berean Bible Church.

Francis L. Sprenkle was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty and a brother.
