Frank Meyers, Jr

Hastings resident, Frank B. Meyers, Jr., 49, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 12, 2010; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2010 from 1 PM - 9 PM with family present from 6 PM - 8 PM at Butler Volland Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Frank B. Meyers Jr. Memorial Fund.

Frank was born June 21, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Frank B. Sr. and Cora M. (Switzer) Meyers. He graduated from Hastings High School. He married Lynne Spencer on August 15, 1980 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska. He worked at Whelan Energy Center as a plant operator for 29 years. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Frank B. Meyers, Sr.; and granddaughter, Rylee Meyers.
