Frank Presnell

Hastings resident, Frank M. Presnell, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his residence.

Memorial services will be Friday, February 26, 2010; 1:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Judith Allen officiating. There will be a book signing Thursday, February 25, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., and Friday prior to service at Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to donor's choice.

Frank was born September 1, 1929, in Jefferson County, Nebraska to Clinton & Josie (Meyers) Presnell. He graduated from Deshler High School. On September 17, 1948 he married Donna Hampton in Hebron, Nebraska. In 1970, they moved from Clay Center to Hastings. He worked for Werner Construction as a paving superintendent from 1954 until 2009. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #592.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and six brothers.
