Franklin Hill

October 9, 1937 — October 11, 2007

Trumbull resident, Frank Hill, 70, of 334 Grant Street, died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at his home.

Services will be Monday, October 15, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at Evangelical Free Church with Steve James officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, October 13, 2007; 9am-9pm, Sunday, October 14, 2007; 1pm-9pm with family present from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home and Monday, October 15, 2007, 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Ducks Unlimited -Rainwater Basin Chapter or Donor's Choice.

Mr. Hill was born October 9, 1937 in Kimball, South Dakota to Paul & Mary (JaGoe) Reindl and was later adopted by Roland & Pearl (Hawkins) Hill. He graduated from Monroe High School, Monroe, Nebraska in 1956. He served in the United States Army from June 22, 1956 to June 19, 1959. He moved to Hastings in 1969. On May 23, 1971, he married Kathy Thompson in Minden, Nebraska. He was a truck driver for Consolidated Motor Freight. He attended Evangelical Free Church and was a member of Teamsters, Ducks Unlimited, N.R.A. and a life member of V.F.W.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Lillian Kohmetscher.
