Hastings resident, Fred W. Yuhl, 88, of 517 Lane F, died Sunday, January 18, 2004 at Perkins Pavilion surrounded by his family.
Services will be Wednesday, January 21, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at All Saints Chapel, Good Samaritan Village with Dr. Lee Wigert & Rev. Neil Vik officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, January 21, 2004; 3:00 P.M. at Chester Cemetery, Chester, Nebraska.
Mr. Yuhl was born November 15, 1915 in Abilene, Kansas to Henry & Augusta (Schroeder) Yuhl. He graduated from Abilene High School, Abilene, Kansas. He was a farmer, cattleman and a field manager for Vigortone Premix Livestock Feeds. He was active in Abilene, Kansas the Dickinson County, Kansas 4-H Clubs. On April 29, 1972, he married Donna (Shoup) Paul in Beatrice, Nebraska. They moved from Lincoln, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1998. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Mr. Yuhl was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Henry Yuhl, Jr.. and three sisters, Elsie Yuhl, Ruth Harrelson & Margaret Kratzberg.
