Frieda Hoefer

Hastings resident, Frieda W. Hoefer, 90, of Perkins Pavilion, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Tuesday, October 24, 2006; 1:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Neil Vik officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2006; 1pm-9pm & Tuesday, October 24, 2006; 9am until service time.

Mrs. Hoefer was born October 24, 1915 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Frank & Anna (Rothfuss) Stromer. She was confirmed on March 30, 1932 by Rev. Paul Goede at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Glenvil, Nebraska. She was married to John W. Hoefer on December 14, 1958 by Rev. Paul Moeller at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Glenvil. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1993. She was a homemaker and a life long area resident.

Mrs. Hoefer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John W. Hoefer, an infant sister and two sisters, Grace Kloppenborg & Etta Jeremias, two brothers, Albert Stromer & George Stromer & a nephew, Marvin Kloppenborg.
