Gary Woolsey

Hastings resident, Gary "Skip" L. Woolsey, 68, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at his home.

Services will be Friday, November 7, 2014; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Friday, November 7, 2014; 9:00 A.M. until service time. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Gary was born July 28, 1946 to Dean & Doris (Holmes) Woolsey. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1964 and worked at Pastime Bowling Alley while he was in school. In 1983, he married Sherry Scrivner. Gary worked for Hastings Industries, ABC Electric, and was a member of the IBEW electrician's union since 1979. Gary retired in 2008. He had also been in the Nebraska National Guard.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
