Geneva Brinegar

Former Hastings resident, Geneva T. Brinegar, 83, of Haven Home of Kenesaw, died Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at Haven Home.

Graveside services will be Friday, January 25, 2002; 2:00 P. M. at Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska, with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating.

Geneva T. Brinegar was born November 9, 1918 in Howard County, Nebraska to George & Ethel (Chadwick) Tatlow. She graduated from Cotesfield High School, Cotesfield, Nebraska and from Mary Lanning School of Nursing. She worked for Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings Regional Center and Hospitals in Washington and Oregon. In 1952, she left Oregon and returned to Hastings, Nebraska and worked at Hastings Regional Center until her retirement. On August 12, 1955, she married Edouard Willmore Brinegar.

Geneva T. Brinegar was preceded in death by her parents.
