Gladys Muehlich

Hastings resident, Gladys "Dolly" Mae Muehlich, 75, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, July 10, 2015; 10:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church, Hastings with Rev. Benjamin Siebert officiating. Burial will be Friday, July 10, 2015; 2:30 P.M. in Schuyler Cemetery, Schuyler, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church Building Fund or American Cancer Society. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church on Friday.

Dolly was born October 5, 1939 in Schuyler, Nebraska to Fred White, Sr. & Gladys (Malzahn) White. She was baptized on November 19, 1939 and confirmed on March 29, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Schuyler, Nebraska. Dolly graduated from Schuyler High School in 1957. She married Howard "Doug" D. Muehlich on May 7, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church; he preceded her in death in January 1996. Dolly worked at NRCS in Nelson and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a quilting group in Nelson. Dolly enjoyed spending her time quilting, reading and word find books.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard "Doug" D. Muehlich; brother, Fred White, Jr.; sister-in-law, Donna Bonne; and brother-in-law, Joe Hajek.
