Glen Uden

November 25, 1923 — December 26, 2002

Glen L. Uden, 79, of 12220 W. DLD Rd., Juniata, Nebraska, died Thursday, December 26, 2002 at BryanLGH Medical Center East, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, December 31, 2002; 10:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl Rehwaldt officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, Christ Lutheran Churchyard, rural Juniata, Nebraska.

Glen L. Uden was born November 25, 1923, in Adams County, Nebraska to William J. & Mary M. (Finnigsmier) Uden. He graduated from Juniata High School. He was a corporal in the United States Marine Corp during WWII from August 24, 1944 to August 24, 1946, serving in the Pacific Theater. On July 30, 1950, he married Mary Vee Bayles at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Juniata, Nebraska. She preceded him in death on October 7, 1999 He was a farmer and owned and operated a welding shop. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Juniata Township Board, Corn Growers Association and the American Legion Club. He was a past member of Concordia Cemetery Association. He was a life long area resident.

Glen L. Uden was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary and a daughter, Carol Wallin.

Memorial may be given to Concordia Cemetery or Faith Lutheran Church
