Glenn Frink

Former Hastings resident, Glenn Thomas Frink, 79, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Thursday, March 12, 2015; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 13; 10:30 A. M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Highland St. Patrick's Cemetery rural Adams County. Memorials may be given to St. Gianna Home c/o Catholic Social Services, 2241 West O St. Lincoln, NE 68510 or Catholic Social Services, 333 West 2nd St. Hastings, NE 68901. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. and Thursday, March12; 1:00 P.M. until rosary at the funeral home. Viewing will also be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Glenn was born December 13, 1935 in Hastings, Nebraska to Thomas F. & Helen D. (Criswell) Frink. He graduated from St. Cecilia High School in 1954 and attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he graduated from the College of Agriculture. Glenn served in the U.S. Army Reserve for seven years. He married Karen J. Brittin on November 26, 1960 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Hastings. Glenn was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Third Degree Pius X Council #1123. He was a past member of Southern Hills Golf Club, Highland St. Patrick's Cemetery Board, Highland Township Board, and South Central Pork Producers. Glenn was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church (Highland) and St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan, Nebraska and Crosier Apostolate. He was an area farmer for many years until his retirement. Glenn retired to Paradise Park in McAllen, Texas for the past 22 years. At Paradise Park he was active as a Board member for four years, officer of golf scrambles and member of the Terra Delsol Golf League.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Beiriger.
