Glenna Albers

Hastings resident, Glenna R. Albers, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at her home.

There will be no services. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the Veterans Administration Medical Center, 2201 N. Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, Nebraska 68803.

Glenna was born September 9, 1930 in Burton, Nebraska to Burna A. & Mary G. (Mason) Lewis. She moved from Burton, Nebraska to Hastings in the early 1940's. Glenna married Gene Albers on February 5, 1947. They moved to Kansas in 1976, then to California, and moved back to Hastings in 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda David; and sister, Shirley Goble.
