Gloria Green

Hastings resident, Gloria J. Green, 71, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family, c/o Laurie Burnham, 2111 West 7th Street, Hastings, Nebraska 68901. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Gloria was born March 9, 1946, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to Halbert Dewey & Helen Catherine (Myers) Gordon. She graduated from Carlisle Senior High School in 1964. Gloria attended Central Community College and Kearney State College studying business management and childcare. She married Jesse W. Green, Sr. on June 14, 1987. Gloria was an in-home child care provider and foster parent and was a member of Hordville Baptist Church.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; five sisters; and son-in-law, Timothy Mieth.
