Gloria Schneider

Hastings resident, Gloria 'Katy' Schneider, 76, of Goldbeck Towers, Good Samaritan Village, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at her home.

Rosary service will be Sunday, August 15, 2004; 8:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 16, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Schneider was born May 13, 1928 in Heartwell, Nebraska to Cyrus & Josephine (Torske) McPherson. She graduated from Heartwell High School in 1945. On March 30, 1948, she married Clarence Schneider at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska. She worked for Swift and Company, Hastings Irrigation and the Clarke Hotel. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary, where she was a past president.

Mrs. Schneider was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 5 brothers.
