Goldie Richison

Hastings resident, Goldie N. Richison, 92, of Perkins Pavilion, died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday, January 3, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, January 3, 2007; 1:30 P.M. at East Lawn Cemetery, Bladen, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday, January 1, 2007; 1pm-9pm, Tuesday, January 2, 2007; 9am-9pm & Wednesday, January 3, 2007; 9am until service time.

Mrs. Richison was born January 2, 1914 in Kirwin, Kansas to Sylvester & Grace (Anderson) Gaines. She graduated from high school and married Rolland J. Richison on September 29, 1937 in Smith Center, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 24, 1964. They worked at Hastings Regional Center as nurse aids. They later moved to Richmond, California where they worked in the Richmond Hospital. In 1985, she returned to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a member of Barrett Avenue Christian Church in Richmond, California.

Mrs. Richison was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Harold Gaines.
