Gordon Smidt

Former Hastings resident, Gordon R. 'Gordy' Smidt, 58, of Wenatchee, Washington, died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Central Washington Hospital, Wenatchee, Washington.

Services were held Sunday, August 24, 2003; 1:00 PM at Jones & Jones Colonial Chapel in Wenatchee, Washington. Graveside service and burial will be Friday, August 29, 2003; 1:30 P.M. at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Harold D. Stromer officiating.

Gordon R. 'Gordy' Smidt was born January 13, 1945 in Hastings, Nebraska to John & Marie (Lindemann) Smidt. He had lived in Wenatchee for 28 years and had worked as an electrician for about 40 years.

Gordon R. 'Gordy' Smidt was preceded in death by his father.
