Greeta Bullock

Hastings resident, Greeta Harlan Bruce Bullock, 93, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, Nebraska.

No visitation or services. Private family interment at a later date.

Mrs. Bullock, formerly of Sun Lakes, AZ, was born July 17, 1912 in Parkville, MO to John Roach Bruce and Anna Viola (Carpenter) Bruce. She graduated from Ponca City, Oklahoma High School and a business school. She also lived in Red Rock, OK. Greeta worked as an executive secretary and raised chinchillas. She married Delbert Barton Bullock on September 3, 1936 in Lexington, NE. He passed away in 1999. Their son, Gene Bruce Bullock, was born June 29, 1945. Greeta and Del lived where his aviation career took them: Kansas City, MO; North Platte, NE; Medford, OR; Great Falls, MT; Edmonton, Alberta Canada; & Evergreen and Lookout Mountain, CO. They retired in Sun Lakes, AZ. Greeta was an avid outdoors woman, enjoying fishing, hunting, golf, horseback riding and raising chinchillas.

Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert in 1999, son Gene in 1994, parents, brother Loral, and sister Vella Louise.
