Gregory Mitchell

Hastings resident, Gregory C. "Greg" Mitchell, 58, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Monday, November 27, 2017; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Greg was born November 29, 1958, in Weisbaden, Germany to William Sr. & Shirley (LaPorte) Mitchell. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1977. Greg married Georgia Raymond on April 7, 1990, in Hastings. Greg worked for Mid America Pump until his retirement due to his health and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mitchell, and grandmother, Adella LaPorte.
