Gwendolyn E. 'Gwen' Rose, 86, of 1235 N. Laird Avenue #106, died Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at her home.

Memorial service will be Saturday, June 30, 2001; 1:30 P.M. at First Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Barry Rempp officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date.

Gwendolyn E. 'Gwen' Rose was born April 5, 1915 in Beloit, Kansas to Allen & Ethel (Campbell) Evans. She graduated from Glen Elder High School, Glen Elder, Kansas in 1932. In 1935, she married Forrest W. Rose and he preceded her in death in 1994. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Lochland Country Club and Elks.

Gwendolyn E. 'Gwen' Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Forrest, son; Jon and a brother; Edwin Evans.

Dennis Rose - Hastings, NE Grandchildren: 7 Great Grandchildren: 10 Sister: Aileen Evans - Denver, CO

Memorial maybe given to American Heart Institute or First Congregational United Church of Christ
