Hans Johnson

Hastings resident, Hans L. 'J.R.' Johnson, 75, of 819 Circle 'P', died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Saturday, October 16, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor David Speicher officiating. Burial will be Saturday, October 16, 2004; 3:00 P.M. in the Arnold Cemetery, Arnold, Nebraska with Rev. Irving Jennings officiating.

Mr. Johnson was born May 6, 1929 in Arnold, Nebraska to Hans & Mary (Morrison) Johnson. He grew up on a farm and farmed until 1964. His love of nature and the outdoors continued until his death. On July 17, 1950, he married Maude Edith Province at Arnold, Nebraska. Several moves and various occupations followed before he retired in Juniata, Nebraska in 1991. He later moved to Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska. .

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great-Great Nieces & Great-Great Nephews.

Memorial may be given to American Cancer Society
