Harlan Kloepper

June 19, 1930 — October 2, 2009

Hastings resident, Harlan A. Kloepper, 79, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Grand Island Veterans Home, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Juniata Community Church, in Juniata with the Pastor Tom Murray officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation as Harlan chose cremation. Memorials may be given to the family.

Harlan was born June 19, 1930 in O'Neill, Nebraska to H. Alvin & Rose (Devall) Kloepper. He was in the U.S. Army from 1952-1953. On December 28, 1953, he married Viola Rickard in Chamberlin, South Dakota. He worked for Union of Omaha #464 as a construction pipe fitter. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and attended Juniata Community Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., Disabled American Veterans, and the Eagles.

Harlan was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Wilma.
