Hastings resident, Harriet O. Theesen, 92, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Monday, March 14, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at Hanover Presbyterian Church, Glenvil, with Pastor C.L. Wimer officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Presbyterian Cemetery, Glenvil. Memorials may be given to Harriet O. Theesen Memorial Fund. Visitation will be Saturday, March 12, 2016; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., Sunday, March 13, 2016; 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.
Harriet was born September 20, 1923 at home in Clay County, Nebraska to Harvey & Allie (Harrenstein) Hunnicutt. She graduated from Hastings High School. Harriet married Ernest Theesen on April 18, 1948 at Hanover Presbyterian Church; he preceded her in death on January 17, 1983. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Hanover Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of the Merrybells Extension Club in the 1950's.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ernest Theesen.
