Harry Luth

Hastings resident, Harry Dean Luth, 63, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Adam White officiating. Burial will be in Inland Cemetery, Inland, Nebraska. Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 2009; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Monday, November 16, 2009; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M., with family present from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and 1 hour prior to service at Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the family or American Legion Baseball.

Harry was born March 22, 1946 in Grant, Nebraska to Wilbur H. & Jean H. (Hartzell) Luth. The family moved to Hastings, Nebraska where Harry graduated from Hastings High School. He owned Royal Billiards and Luth Bros. Painting Company. In 1985, he began working at Kucera Painting where he was currently employed. He married Carolyn Mitchell Harris on June 30, 1989 in Hastings. He enjoyed all sports, especially pool. He was a member of the American Legion and Eagles Aerie Club.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa; sister, Sandra; brothers, Chuck, Billy, and Royce.
