Hazel Abraham

Hastings resident, Hazel S. Abraham, 83, of Good Samaritan Village, Perkins Pavilion, died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion.

Graveside services and burial will be Thursday, July 5, 2007; 11:00 A.M. at Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, Nebraska with Rev. Buck Linton-Hendrick officiating. Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2007; 6pm-9pm, Tuesday, July 3, 2007; 1pm-9pm with family present 5pm-7pm at Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Abraham was born April 2, 1924 in Cortland, Nebraska to Reint & Louise (Schmale) Rademaker. She graduated from Atlanta High School, Atlanta, Nebraska in 1941. On December 6, 1945, she married Frank S. Abraham in Phillipsburg, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a long time resident of Holdrege, Nebraska and retired from Becton Dickinson in Holdrege, where she worked for many years. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1997.

Mrs. Abraham was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; great granddaughter; brother, Alven Rademaker; and sister, Mabel Marguerites.
