Former Hastings resident Helen Dye, 97, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Bethany Home, Minden, NE.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings with Rev. Benjamin Hanne officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with family present 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 6, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Helen was born October 2, 1926, in Brighton, CO to Lemuel and Margaret (Dolen) Clay. She graduated from Ansley High School. Helen married Arthur S. Dye on March 23, 1947, in Ansley, NE; he preceded her in death on July 8, 2019. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Masonic Eastern Star.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur S. Dye; four brothers; two sisters; and great-grandson, Braden Lee Dye.
