Helen Hilger

Hastings resident, Helen L. Koger Hilger, 88, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Private family graveside services will be in Roseland Mennonite Cemetery, Roseland. Memorials may be given to Roseland Mennonite Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Helen was born October 4, 1926 in Roseland, Nebraska to William & Alice (Showalter) Ehrman. She graduated from Heston College in Heston, Kansas. Helen married Zane Koger; he preceded her in death in June 1972. She married Harold Hilger on May 2, 1983. Helen worked as a sales clerk for Metz Bakery until her retirement.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Zane Koger; brother, Richard "Dick" Ehrman; and brother-in-law, Eldon Hostetler.
