Hastings resident, Helen Anita (Steinert) Hynnek, 98, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Perkins Pavilion.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 29, 2008; 11:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Private family interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Hynnek was born July 19, 1910 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Paul & Bertha (Knoor) Steinert. She married Edward R. Hynnek in 1932 and he preceded her in death in 1998. They retired to Hastings, Nebraska in 1968, moving from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to be near their daughter and son-in-law, Barbara M. (Hynnek) & Paul A. Steinke. They also preceded her in death. She was a very active member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and WELCA. She lived on Lakeside Drive for nearly 40 years and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hynnek was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; one son, Edward Jr. in 1944 & a daughter & son-in-law, Barbara & Paul Steinke.
