Helen Murray

Helen L. Murray, 88, of Perkins Pavilion, died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Thursday, March 13, 2003; 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Harland Minscer and Rev. Thomas Murray officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Helen L. Murray, daughter of Dewey & Mabel (Gibboney) Sypherd, was born November 12, 1914 in Munden, Kansas. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska in th 1920's. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1933. On September 28, 1940, she married Floyd B. Murray in North Platte, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church and Ruth Church Circle. She was a pink lady with over 2500 volunteered hours at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Helen L. Murray was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd and a brother, Dale Sypherd.

Memorial may be given to the family, a memorial will be established.

Wed. 3-12-03; 9am-9pm with family present 7pm-9pm
Thur. 3-13-03; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
