Henry Eltz

Hastings resident, Henry J. "Hank" Eltz, 54, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at his home.

Rosary will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015; 10:00 A.M. at Assumption Catholic Church, Assumption, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015; 10:30 A.M. at Assumption Catholic Church with Father Jonathan Haschke & Father Thomas Brouillette officiating. Burial will be in Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Heartland Pet Connection or Start Over Rover. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.

Henry was born August 9, 1961 to Herbert & Myrtle (Gimpel) Eltz in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from Roseland High School. Henry worked at Allen's, SunMart, and his most recent job was at Russ's Market. He was the assistant manager on the night shift. Henry worked in the grocery business for over 30 years and he enjoyed it very much. He enjoyed roller skating, getting together with family and friends, and he loved animals.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents.
