Former rural Juniata resident, Herbert H. Eltz, 85, of Grandview Manor, Campbell, Nebraska, died Friday, January 17, 2003 at Grandview Manor.
Rosary will be Tuesday, January 21, 2003; 10:00 A.M. Assumption Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 A.M. with Father Thomas Au officiating. Burial with Military Rites will be in the Assumption Churchyard Cemetery, Roseland, Nebraska.
Herbert H. Eltz was born July 12, 1917 in Adams County, Nebraska to Joseph & Pauline (Olinger) Eltz. He attended Assumption School through the 8th grade. He served in the United States Army during WWII from May 2, 1942-April 21, 1946. On May 2, 1957, he married Myrtle Gimpel. He was a farmer and an electrician. He was also a ham radio operator. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and a life long area resident.
Herbert H. Eltz was preceded in death by his parents.
