Hilma Gartner

Former area resident, Hilma N. Gartner, 92, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Home, Omaha, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, March 12, 2012; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Funeral Home, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Harold Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska. Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2012; 4 P.M. - 8 P.M. with the family present. Viewing will also be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, 204 West Johnson, Clay Center, Nebraska 68933 or Anthony Yates Ministry, 2617 S. 114th St., Omaha, Nebraska 68114.

Hilma was born March 4, 1920 and was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Tena Smidt, husband, Norris, sister, Irene and brothers, Klaus, George, Ernest, Richard, Arnold and Henry Jr.
