Hastings resident, Inez R. Lierman, 90, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Memorial Services will be Wednesday, September 10, 2014; 10:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, September 10, 2014; 2:00 P.M. in Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Nebraska. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church. Book signing will be Tuesday, September 9, 2014; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at that church.
Inez was born September 27, 1923 in Cambridge, Nebraska to Richard & Hattie (Koitsch) Debban. She graduated from Elwood High School and married Gilbert W. Lierman on November 8, 1942 at Salem Lutheran Church; he preceded her in death on December 20, 2012. They moved to Hastings in 1960 from Lexington. Inez worked at Allen's in the camera department for many years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was very active.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert W. Lierman; siblings, Richard Debban, Fern Schultz, Bernice Fleischer, Dale Debban, Larry Debban, Roger Debban, and Norma Thinnes.
