Inez Schroeder

Hastings resident, Inez V. Schroeder, 82, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at her residence.

Services will be Friday, May 21, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings, with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, May 20, 2010; 12:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present 7:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family.

Inez was born November 29, 1927 in Mt. Clare, Nebraska to William & Lena (Steinke) Jones. She attended school at Nuckolls County, Mt. Clare, and graduated from Superior High School. She worked at Nash Finch in Hastings. On June 29, 1948 she married Lloyd Schroeder in Hastings. She worked at the Hastings Regional Center and Red Cross, and also volunteered at Mary Lanning and the county fair. She was a member of the First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, member of the WELCA Group #2, and County Extension Club.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and two infant brothers.
