Our beloved sister and aunt, Iola Frances Kramer, passed away, August 7, 2012 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village of congestive heart failure.
Rosary will be Friday, August 10, 2012; 9:30 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 10, 2012; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Joseph M. Walsh Officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, our family respectfully requests memorials are given to St. Cecilia's Catholic Church or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2012; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service at the church.
Iola was born October 10, 1920 in Roseland, Nebraska to Albert M. & Ella (Zubrod) Kramer. She attended school through eighth grade, and lived in Arlington, Virginia from 1942 until 1944. Iola worked as a nurse's aide at Mary Lanning Hospital for 45 years where she retired in 1989. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and Altar Society. Iola's favorite color was blue. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, solitaire, and shoveling snow. Iola even climbed on the house and cleaned the down spouts.

Iola was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother and sister; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leslie & Frances Kramer, and Earl & Carmella Kramer; brother-in-law, Myron Osborn; nephew, Lawrence Kramer; and great-nephew, Jason L. Kramer.
