Iola Rodine, 97, of Perkins Pavilion died Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion.
Services will be Friday, June 10, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Chapel, Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. John H. G. Curtiss officiating. Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery, Minden, Nebraska.
Iola Lynn Rodine was born December 1, 1907 in Kearney County, Nebraska to Louis & Anna (Pederson) Lynn. She attended May rural school and graduated from Minden Senior High School in 1925. She taught in rural school in Kearney County for three years. She married David Rodine on August 22, 1928 and they farmed near Minden for four years. They moved to Hastings in 1932. She was manager of Sears Order Office for ten years, then worked for Montgomery Ward until she retired. David preceded her in death in 1978. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and member and past president of Pythian Sisters and Does.
Iola Rodine was preceded in death by her parents, husband David Rodine and three sisters.
