Jack Sinnard

February 3, 1931 — June 18, 1950

Jack H. Sinnard, 71, of 1107 N. Minnesota Ave., died Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial service will be Saturday, January 4, 2003; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel , Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Doug Griger and Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Private family interment at a later date.

Jack H. Sinnard was born February 3, 1931 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Willis H. & Edna C. (Barr) Sinnard. He graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1949. On June 18, 1950, he married Patricia A. Hoffman. He worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Grand Island from 1950 until 1957. From 1957 until 1960, he was Collection Manager for the Collection Service Company and then was Credit Manager for the J. M. McDonald Stores until the closing of the stores in 1983. He then worked until 2000 for the Tool House of Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, 50 year member of Masonic Lodge #317 A.F. & A.M, Eagles Aerie #592 and Four Rivers Sportsman Club. He was an avid reader, enjoyed football, basketball, track, fishing, hunting and was an avid competitive shooter.

Jack H. Sinnard was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Tom Sinnard.

7 Grandchildren
1 Great Grandson
