Hastings resident, Jacqueline K. Salazar, 65, of 622 W. 16th St., died Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at Bryan LGH Medical Center East, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Services will be Monday, February 16, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska.
Mrs. Salazar was born April 26, 1938 in Aurora, Nebraska to Jack & Pauline (Wood) Ross. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1955 and on September 18, 1955, married Eugene Salazar. She was co-owner/operator of Gene's Upholstery in Minden and Kearney, Nebraska before moving their business to Hastings, Nebraska. She enjoyed camping, traveling, equestrian 4-H and was actively involved in the upholstery and restoration of historical buildings in the Hastings area.
Mrs. Salazar was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Gene Salazar, III and Paul Salazar.
