Hastings resident Jacquelin Diane “Jackie” (Scribner) Bramman, 70, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019, at her daughter’s home in Bennet, NE.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Rev. Darin Corder officiating. The family requests vibrant colors or wacky patterns to be worn to the services in honor of Jackie. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hastings. In lieu of flowers, please send stuffed animals or memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Jacquelin Diane (Scribner) Bramman was born April 1, 1948, in Aurora, NE to Albert J. and Eileen (Keairns) Scribner. Jackie went to Spencer Park Elementary School, Junior High, and graduated from Hastings High School in 1966.
In 1970, she married David Bramman; they divorced in 1982. She worked for Good Samaritan Village in Villa Hope as a cooks assistant and dishwasher. Jackie also worked for Kings Food Host as a waitress and Imperial Mall for 15 ½ years.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; step-grandson, Robert Ryan; cousin, Anthony Epp; and many other family members.
