Former Hastings resident, Jacquelyn 'Jacke' Faye Andreasen, 81, of Tiffany Square, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Tiffany Square, Grand Island, Nebraska.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, June 17, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Private family interment at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. No visitation or viewing. Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Hospital Auxiliary.
Mrs. Andreasen was born June 17, 1926 to Sidney & Grace (Haase) Blois in Kearney, Nebraska. She graduated from high school in Compton, California. Jacke moved to Nebraska and worked as a telephone operator in McCook, Nebraska, where she met Charles 'Charlie' L. Andreasen. On August 25, 1950, they were married in McCook. Eventually they made their home in Hastings, where she enjoyed homemaking and helping with Charlie's business. Upon Charlie's retirement, they traveled around the United States in their motor home, attending rallies and visiting friends. Her life was dedicated to helping and loving her children, grandchildren and all who crossed her path.
Mrs. Andreasen was preceded in death by her parents, and infant sister and her husband.
