James Carl

Former Hastings resident, James F. Carl, 52, died Monday, November 15, 2004 in Winnemucca, Nevada.

Memorial graveside services with military rites will be Friday, November 26, 2004; 2:00 P.M. at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Tom Murray officiating. Services were held at Albertson Funeral Home, Winnemucca, Nevada, Saturday, November 20, 2004: 2:00 P.M.

Mr. Carl was born December 6, 1951 to Francis & Jacquelyn (Robare) Carl in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1970 and served two years in the United States Army. He married Marci Maul on March 21, 1980. He owned JC's Painting and he also owned and operated The Desert Rose in Winnemucca, before his health failed. He coached little league baseball, starting with PeeWees through high school. His passions in life were his children, mining and working for himself to create a successful business.

Mr. Carl was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Cathy Hultine.
