Hastings resident, James N. Gleason, 72, of 314 Boston, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at his home.
Rosary service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2003; 8:00 P.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 26; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial with Military Rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
James N. Gleason was born July 25, 1930 in Guide Rock, Nebraska to Clifford and Cleone (Sabin) Gleason. He graduated from Hardy High School, Hardy, Nebraska in 1948. On May 21, 1955, he married Charleen Himmelberg. He served in the United States Army from June 13, 1951 through April 30, 1953, serving in the Korean Conflict and later in the United States Army Reserves. He was the manager of the Adams County Fairgrounds, and was production manager of Hastings Industries. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Men's Club, Honorary Member 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and American Legion.
James N. Gleason was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Ron Gleason.
