James Kluver

Hastings resident, James F. "Ace" Kluver, 61, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Mary Lanning HealthCare in Hastings.

Celebration of Life service will be Wednesday, August 14, 2013; 10:00 A.M. at the Berean Bible Church with Pastor Paul Knott officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Monday, August 12, 2013 3:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be Tuesday, August 13, 2013; 3:00 P.M - 9:00 P.M. with family present 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home; and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be given to the family.

Ace was born December 12, 1951 to Frederick H. & Berdena A. (Terwey) Kluver at Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1970. Ace served in the United States Army from February 3, 1971 until November 1, 1972 and was stationed in Germany. Ace had two sons, Jace and Justin Kluver from a previous marriage. Ace married Barbara (Beguelin) Goedert on March 29, 2002 in Hastings. Ace was a lifetime resident of Adams County. He was a member of Berean Bible Church and self employed as a flooring installation specialist.

Ace Kluver was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Logan James Kluver.
