Jane Estelle Holman, 91, of the Homestead, Hastings, Nebraska died, Friday, January 18, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, January 21, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Ron Russell officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Jane Estelle Holman was born December 20, 1910 in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Floyd A. & Gladys I. (Goodridge) Butler. She graduated from Pawnee City High School and attended Peru State Teachers College and the University of Nebraska. She taught school for several years. She married John C. Holman on June 1, 1933 and he preceded her in death on September 2, 1995. She was a past member of the League of Women's Voters; Governor's Council to Keep America Beautiful; Eastern Star; past President of Grand Island Women's Club; Methodist Church, Grand Island; Christian Science Church, Hastings and several bridge clubs in Hastings.

Jane Estelle Holman was preceded in death by her parents, husband John C. Holman, twin brother Donovan G. Butler and brother Floyd G. Butler.
